Before you get started, you’ll need to set up a PIA S5 Proxy and Firefox browser account, which you can do here:

Step 3: Get the integrated IP address

If you have purchased a residential proxy, you can obtain the proxy IP in the Residential Proxy-Endpoint Generator section of the Personal Center. We support identity authentication for residential proxies based on IP whitelists.

When you select this authentication method, you can fill in the API link or obtain the IP address and port by opening the link when setting up the proxy.

Firefox settings

  1. Click Firefox browser settings, then click Settings;

  1. Click System, then Network, then Proxy Settings

  1. Click Proxy, then find Manual Proxy Settings, fill in the proxy address and host generated using the whitelist, and click Save

  1. The IP address you obtain will be displayed on the browser you launch;
